Bill Lewandowski - Owner
Bill has over 17 years of experience in training and simulation in the military, aviation
and medical industries and 28 years of experience in developing and implementing
training:
publications and conferences as well as participated in peer review committees for the
International Society for Performance Improvement, the Journal of Endovascular
Therapy and the Journal of the American Medical Association. He is a long-standing
member of the American Society for Training and Development and the International
Society for Performance Improvement.
Since starting William E. Lewandowski Consulting in 2005, Bill and his colleagues have
been working with international clients to help them assess their performance needs,
and then guide them through the process of addressing those needs through the use of
technology interventions, such as web-based instruction and virtual reality simulation.
Some of our recent projects have been:
Bill has over 17 years of experience in training and simulation in the military, aviation

- As a military contractor, Bill managed a military simulation center and was among
the first to utilize digital simulation for training deploying Army soldiers for combat
operations.
- In civil aviation, he oversaw the development of certified pilot and maintenance
courses for 8 corporate aircraft and regional jets. He also managed a flight
simulation center and managed a program that recruited, tested and marketed
pilots to regional airlines.
- In medicine, he oversaw development of 17 commercial medical simulation
projects and was a VP for Simulation Systems and Business Development.
- He holds a MS in Instructional and Performance Technology from Boise State
University, and he is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff
College.

- Providing consulting services to the joint British, European and US Interventional
Radiology Simulation Task Force in conducting task analyses on selected medical
procedures and developing validation standards for medical simulation.
- Assisting major, medical device manufacturers with the international deployment
of virtual reality simulation.
- Providing instruction on improving motor skills for an international medical device
manufacturer.
- Creating a strategic implementation plan, for deploying advanced training
technology, for a flight training company.
- Creating Flight Operation Manual assessment instruments for use by corporate
aviation flight departments.
- Presenting leadership and management training to first-line supervisors in the
